UniQorn Safety — Part 1: Getting started Public demonstration | Interface captured 18 October 2026 Welcome to UniQorn Safety Welcome to UniQorn Safety, and this equipment inspection training series. We will follow one demonstration sling from setup through inspection, corrective action and reporting. The equipment, answers and decisions are training examples only. Nothing in these videos approves real equipment for use or replaces your approved inspection method. Sign in and choose Safety Open the UniQorn portal and sign in with your authorised account. After sign-in, check that your organisation is selected. On the workspace screen, choose UniQorn Safety. Trace is a separate workspace for product passports. Keep your password private; the training account is not a substitute for named operational users. Know the three main tabs The current Safety workspace has three main tabs. Overview is the starting point for inspection work and management links. Equipment opens the register so you can find an item. Setup organises sites, areas, locations, equipment types and checklist management. The controls available to each person depend on their authorised Safety role. Find the correct equipment From Overview, choose Find equipment, or open the Equipment tab. Search by the equipment code or name, then check both against the physical item before opening it. Our example is DEMO B S SLING zero zero one, explicitly marked not operational equipment. Do not create a duplicate record just because a search or scan fails. Read status carefully Three things must not be confused: the equipment register status, the result of an inspection, and the current equipment safety gate. An active register entry is not permission to use equipment. A past passing report is not a current release. Open the equipment workflow and review its current gate alongside local operating rules. Your route through the series An administrator prepares the equipment, checklist, identification and schedule. An authorised inspector completes the checks and records evidence. When failures occur, corrective work and equipment release follow their own controlled workflow. Continue to chapter two for setup. Pause and practise only on clearly identified training records, never by changing operational equipment for demonstration.
