UniQorn Safety — Part 2: Equipment and checklists Public demonstration | Interface captured 18 October 2026 Start with the hierarchy Chapter two covers the administrator's setup workflow. Open Setup and organise where the equipment lives: site, area and location. Our training item sits at the demonstration site, training area and inspection bench. Equipment type matters because it connects an asset to the appropriate published checklist. Use your organisation's agreed names and codes. Register an equipment item Expand Add to Safety. Enter an equipment name and unique code, then select its site, area, location and equipment type. Complete the manufacturer, model or serial details where applicable, and use Register equipment after checking the record. Here we review the existing demo configuration rather than submitting another asset. Confirm that the item appears in the Equipment register. Create a checklist draft Open Client inspection templates, then New template. Give the checklist a clear code and name. The creation form offers a published master where available, or a start from scratch. Create the client draft and author its sections and questions. This chapter reviews the already published training example; it does not create or publish an additional template. Design checks and failure rules Define each question using the response type appropriate to the check, including yes or no, text, numbers and photos. Mark genuinely required fields and configure failure conditions deliberately. In our example, a false identity or condition answer is a failure. Have a competent reviewer approve the real inspection method, evidence requirements and technical acceptance criteria before use. Publish and assign deliberately Before publishing, review the draft, inspection frequency and equipment-type assignments. Publication creates the fixed version used by inspections. The visible training version is published and read-only; Create next draft is the route for future changes. Existing inspection records keep the version they started with. A structural check is not certification of legal or technical compliance. Verify the inspector's view Return to the equipment's Field inspections page and check that the intended published checklist appears under Choose a checklist. If no applicable checklist appears, resolve the type assignment or publication before inspecting. Our seven-day frequency and sample measurements are illustrative, not approved limits or intervals. Schedule and assign the real workflow only after the responsible person has approved it.
