An ESPR Digital Product Passport is a structured digital record connected to a physical product through a persistent identifier and data carrier. Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1781, product-specific rules can require the passport to provide defined identity, sustainability, circularity and compliance information to authorised stakeholders across the product lifecycle.
ESPR is in force and establishes the DPP framework.
